ABM College’s two-year Massage Therapy diploma program covers the important aspects of massage therapy, hydrotherapy, nutrition and therapeutic exercise. Our career-focused program includes clinical and massage practicums where you will learn and work alongside registered massage therapists (RMTs).
These practicums provides insight and real-world experience to fast-track you into a career path where you help people feel their best. Our Massage Therapy program includes courses in:
- Massage Therapy and Practice: Learn full-body massage techniques and physical and psychological effects of massage therapy
- Anatomy, Physiology, Osteology: Study the human body, including bones, skeletal muscles, vital organs, the central nervous and respiratory systems and more
- Clinical Assessment: Learn to perform soft-tissue diagnoses, posture assessments, range of motion and more
- Pharmacology: Study drug interactions how medications in general relate to and effect massage treatments
You will also follow modules on career planning and ethics and get relevant, valuable work experience during work placements at the end of both semesters. You will graduate knowing you have the skill and confidence to launch your new career!
